Reformative Rest
This restorative course will deepen our sensitive nature and provide the practice of resting. Release the tensions, learn to value the subtle space that exists outside of sleep, and spend time with yourself without having to do or produce or effort. Through four LIVE sessions and two yoga nidra recordings, this program seeks to reframe our relationship to tamas (inactivity) by recognizing the reformative nature of trust in structure. We will learn to set up a stable, supportive shape for ourselves with props (bolsters, straps, blocks and beyond) in order to discover the restful state of the āsana (posture). We will explore backbends, twists, and folds and use props to reimagine the work of the body, brain, and breath.
This course is guided by Lindsay.
