EMPOWER YOUR NATURE

August 21-27, 2025

Women’s retreat in the Alpine wild

Your body knows the way home. A retreat to revive your instincts, awaken your senses, and nourish your female nervous system through expert-led movement, deep nature immersion, and embodied sisterhood.

An eco-active immersion for us to restore, move, and embody our true nature.

You’re not broken. You’re depleted.

And no amount of self-help, therapy, or willpower will fix it—because it’s not a mindset problem. It’s physiological.

When your nervous system is stuck in survival mode, everything feels harder. Your energy is low, your body feels off, and emotions spiral between frustration, numbness, and overwhelm. You don’t need another escape—you need a full-body, deep-in-your-bones reset.

That’s exactly what we will do.

Through expert-led movement, immersive nature experiences, and the profound alchemy of women gathering together, we will rebalance your system at its core. You’ll leave with a nervous system that actually works for you—one that makes you feel alive, creative, connected, and free.

This isn’t just self-care. It’s basic survival skills.

Exit your pattern. Step into the matter.

Everything in your current routine keeps reinforcing the same patterns—overthinking, overgiving, underexpressing. Alone at your desk. Alone in your thoughts. Alone in your motherhood.

That stops here.

In the heart of the Julian Alps, you will move, sense, and connect in ways your body has been craving. We’ll hike through ancient forests, sink into wild rivers, and let the land itself reorganize our nervous systems. You will be nourished and taken care of—by seasonal, vibrant food, by the group of women who have gathered, and by the practices of immersing into nature, guided movement, and Yoga philosophy.

This is not another stand-alone catharsis, another unintegrated wonderful experience—this is a deep and lasting impression in your nervous system that will continue to fuel and support you for the long haul.

You will return home unstuck, with a body that remembers how to tap into its power, pleasure, and peace.

Moss girl summer—the revival is ours.

The moment you say yes, it begins.

Not in August, not when your feet touch the mossy trails of the Alps—but today.

Because this is more than a retreat. It’s a commitment to your own revival. And when you claim your spot now, you don’t have to wait to feel the shift. You’ll step immediately into a container designed to hold you, nourish you, and set you in motion with these pre-retreat bonuses:

🩸 The Red Tent—your space for connection, guidance, and sisterhood leading up to the retreat.
👣 A private 1:1 Movement Medicine Zoom session—so you can begin moving, breathing, and restoring your instincts right now.

By the time summer arrives, you won’t be starting from scratch. You’ll already feel the difference—more attuned, more grounded, more like yourself. And then, you’ll arrive in the Alpine wild, where the air is crisp, the land is alive, and the days stretch open for you to step fully into the woman you are becoming.

The revival starts now. Put down your deposit today, and set it all in motion.

  • Women-Only Experience – A sacred container of sisterhood, connection, and deep co-regulation.

Retreat is NOT a luxury—it’s how women are meant to thrive.

Women aren’t meant to go it alone. We are wired for deep connection, for rhythms of rest and renewal, for gathering with other women to move, share, and restore. But modern life strips this away. We push through exhaustion, live in cycles of depletion, and forget what it feels like to be truly supported.

This is not indulgence—it’s basic survival needs. Studies show that women’s nervous systems regulate best in community with other women. Oxytocin, the hormone that lowers stress and boosts well-being, is released when we gather, when we move together, when we braid each other’s hair. Yet most of us live in isolation, expected to self-soothe through productivity and willpower.

Retreat is the reset we’re physiologically designed for.

Here, away from the habits and overstimulation of daily life, your nervous system gets what it craves:
Space—to sense, soften, and reawaken your instincts.
Movement—to restore fluidity and aliveness in your body.
Sisterhood—to be seen, held, and reminded that you are not alone.
Nature—to recalibrate your rhythms and connect to something greater.

When you remove yourself from routine, you don’t just “relax”—you repattern. You’ll return home not just rested, but rewired—carrying a new baseline of vitality, resilience, and feminine power.

This is how women have always healed. And it’s how you will too.

From My Body to Yours: A Guide Who Knows

Julia Eda Shemesh, E-RYT i lost count, mother of two, professional mover

I know what it’s like to…

🫀 be overstimulated to the point of exhaustion and rage.
🫀 feel unseen in your own home, alone and trapped.
🫀 struggle in your marriage, wondering if you’re losing yourself.
🫀 feel disconnected from your creativity, your daughters, your body.
🫀 know you have so much to offer the world—yet keep pouring yourself into the wrong places.
🫀 feel unloved, too much, not feminine enough, disembodied, in grief, like a failure, furious at the world, depleted, overwhelmed, spread thin.

The turning point for me was realizing that no matter what I did, how much I worked on myself, how much I tried to “fix” things…if I did not form a loving, respectful, and intelligent relationship with my female physiology, I would stay stuck. The struggle would never end. My body would keep fighting me. Life would keep getting harder.

When I became a mother, I felt this truth in my bones. And so I began to listen.

I pulled from everything I knew—20+ years of professional dance, deep yogic studies, integral anatomy, movement research, somatic psychology, and thousands of hours guiding women—and wove it into a practice that worked with my body instead of against it. A practice that understood, honored, and celebrated what it means to move as a woman.

That’s how Movement Medicine was born.

It is not about fixing yourself. It’s about returning to yourself—to the wisdom, rhythm, and instincts that have always been there.

This land is my home. And it’s calling you back to yours.

This isn’t just another retreat in a dreamy location—it’s where my ancestors have lived for generations. It’s where I spent my childhood, where I had my first kiss on the banks of these rivers, where my mother has hiked these mountains since she was a girl. My grandmother taught me how to walk through these forests with reverence.

This land holds a raw, timeless wisdom.

Step away from the noise. From the screens. From the overwork and the pushing and the depletion. Step into the lush beauty of this place, where the rivers run clear, the air is crisp, and the mountains remind you what it means to belong—to yourself, to the soft animal of your body, to the family of things.

I am here to guide you back home.

A typical day:

  • 7:00 AM: Breakfast

  • 8:30 AM: Yoga practice

  • 11:00 AM: Nature immersion

  • 1:00 PM: Lunch

  • 5:00 PM: Movement practice

  • 7:00 PM: Dinner

  • 9:00 PM: Optional evening activity

This video focuses on the Fusine Lakes and Lake Predil, which we will visit. My intention in sharing it here is to give you a vibe of the ESSENCE of this place. Enjoy!

The power of the Julian Alps

BREATHE: Air quality is decidedly better for you in the mountains. The air is charged with beneficial secondary metabolites called terpenes that are released from a wide variety of local plants. Imagine a week of breathing in some of the best air quality in the world.

SEE: Magnificent views that leave their mark on your soul. Studies have shown the powerful effects of being close to and actually gazing at mountains and their surroundings. Spend some time literally sitting on some of the oldest and most solid parts of our Earth.

FEEL: Throughout history and across cultures, we have been swimming or dipping ourselves in natural bodies of water as a way to cleanse ourselves—physically, psychologically and emotionally. This holistic catharsis can nourish and awaken us on a deeper level.

Meet the women who will feed us.

Rooted in the traditions of Northern Italy, these local women have spent a lifetime immersed in the tastes, rhythms, and culinary heritage of this land. They carry the deep knowledge of their grandmothers’ kitchens—of wild herbs, slow-cooked broths, and the perfect balance of flavors only a native could know. But they also bring something rare to this region: expertise in plant-based cuisine.

In this collaboration, their artistry and witchcraft is unparalleled. Each meal is a fusion of deep tradition and modern nourishment, crafted with reverence for both the land and the women gathered here. What they create together is more than food—it’s an experience, a love letter to the mountains, and a feast that will nourish us from the inside out.

After earning a degree in Engineering, she embarked on a year-long solo journey that became the catalyst for pursuing her dreams.

In 2017, she launched The Vegan Side of the Moon blog, where she shares insights into a lifestyle rooted in deep respect for all living beings. She has worked as a chef in a hotel but now travels as an independent chef, contributing to the creation of menus for vegan restaurants around the world. She also produces video recipes for social media, leads in-person and online cooking courses, and organizes trips that intertwine sustainable agriculture with gastronomy.

In her ever-evolving kitchen, Alessia loves working with wild herbs and foraged ingredients, focusing on sustainability by prioritizing local, seasonal produce and actively fighting food waste. Mushrooms are a particular passion of hers—both in culinary experimentation and beyond, as she explores their vast potential. She is currently training as a mycologist.

“The inspiration for many of my dishes comes from contemplating the beauty of nature and meticulously studying what is edible in the forests. Fermentation is an ancestral technique that enhances the uniqueness of each ingredient, bringing out its essence and the distinctive characteristics of its habitat. Cooking in harmony with the environment, respecting its rhythms, and honoring its cycles—these are the most important ingredients for me.”

— Alessia Fantini

  • Alessia is a holistic and plant-based chef, functional nutrition coach, and culinary consultant specializing in fermentation, wild herbs, and the deep connection between food and health. Having lived and worked between Copenhagen and London for eight years, she honed her expertise in the art of fermentation, spices, and sustainable plant-based cuisine.

Since 2018, Alessia has expanded her work to include nutrition studies, focusing on the relationship between food and well-being. She provides tailored consulting for restaurants, schools, agricultural businesses, and food production companies, with an emphasis on plant-based innovation, fermentation, and seasonal, local ingredients.

As a recipe developer, she has worked in R&D for renowned companies, including Agua De Madre, a London-based water kefir startup, where she gained firsthand experience in the complexities of launching new food products.

Alessia also teaches plant-based cooking at independent culinary schools, Eataly Trieste, and in professional reintegration programs within prisons and employment centers. Passionate about the human side of her craft, her mission is to highlight and uplift the unique value of the individuals and communities she collaborates with.

“My culinary approach is deeply rooted in seasonal and organic cooking, with a strong emphasis on spices, wild herbs, and fermented foods. My creative style is influenced by various culinary traditions I’ve encountered through travel and professional experiences—most notably, Israeli cuisine. But my passion began much earlier, in my family’s kitchen, where I was raised by a grandmother who made everything from scratch. As an unconventional child, I preferred homemade vegetable soup from the garden over pasta.”
